My Experience
- I currently volunteer as a school counsellor in a local secondary school — a role I’ve held for several years and one I care deeply about.
- I have provided therapeutic support at a centre for survivors of domestic abuse, working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- My counselling work includes experience with people from a wide range of cultural and faith backgrounds, gender identities, and neurodiverse profiles.
- Before qualifying as a therapist, I spent many years in community-based support roles — developing and leading outreach projects for children, young people, and families.
- I’ve also worked as a trainer and public speaker, delivering sessions on emotional wellbeing, resilience, and relationships.
- My background includes extensive pastoral care work, supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy and compassion.
All of this experience shapes the way I work: grounded, relational, culturally sensitive, and deeply human.
